Meet Bob, founder of
The Vintage Veteran

Captain Bob has been serving the veteran community for years as a radio and podcast host. But his love of woodworking…and dogs…led to the creation of  The Vintage Veteran.  

The Vintage Veteran allows Bob to showcase & sell his artwork, while giving 10% of all profits to local veteran nonprofits.

Bob gives all credit and inspiration to Rob Cosman and his Purple Heart Project. Having found peace that only hand-tool woodworking can bring, Bob teaches veterans how to make everything you see here out of his business.

As for the dog? His name is Max.  He is one of our shop dogs and all-around good boy.

Max, along with Athena and Biscuit,  make the woodshop a welcome place for visitors (with treats). Typically, you’ll find these puppers gnawing on a (hopefully) scrap piece of wood while we work.
